Robert Pattinson Used Valium For "Twilight" Audition
According to the April, 2009 issue of GQ magazine, "Twilight" heartthrob, Robert Pattinson, used Valium to help him land his most famous role.
"I took half a Valium and then went into this thing -- and all this stuff happened," he said. "It was the first time I've ever taken Valium. A quarter. A quarter of a Valium. I tried to do it for another audition, and it just completely backfired -- I was passing out."
According to Pattinson, he used Valium to help him calm his nerves prior to the Twilight audition. The actor doesn’t watch his own movies and when he went to the premier of his landmark film, he had to leave the theater after experiencing a panic attack.
